Mod «Neurotrauma» for Barotrauma

Neurotrauma is a Barotrauma mod that overhauls the human health system. It adds depth to medical gameplay: underlying conditions must be diagnosed using symptoms or a scanner, and drug treatment requires care to avoid harm. Limbs can be torn off and reattached, and organs may fail and require replacement.

This mod includes:

— Medical equipment

— Fire damage effects

— Numerous symptoms

— Organ damage and failure mechanics

— Surgeries such as amputations and transplants

— Infection systems

Neurotrauma requires Lua For Barotrauma to function. In multiplayer, the server must use the Lua server executable. In singleplayer or Submarine Editor, client-side Lua must be installed.

Bots do not treat injuries with this mod. Configuration is available through the “Neurotrauma” option in the ESC menu if client-side Lua is installed.

Compatible with any Barotrauma patch or expansion. Do not use with NT Unstunned or Consent Required Extended—they are obsolete and cause conflicts. Incompatible with mods that override Human.xml or vanilla medicine files.
