Auto-Pause on Load automatically pauses Kenshi at key moments so your squad does not keep acting while you are in menus.
Requirements:
- RE_Kenshi must be installed and enabled.
How to Use:
- Load any save from the menu or in-game.
- Open inventory or start trading.
- The game auto-pauses based on your configuration settings.
Configuration: Open the mod-config.json file to adjust the following settings:
- Enable or disable the mod (enabled: true/false).
- Adjust the save-load pause debounce time (pause_debounce_ms: 0-600000).
- Toggle debug logging (debug_log_transitions: true/false).
- Toggle trade pause and resume options (pause_on_trade, resume_after_trade).
- Toggle inventory pause and resume options (pause_on_inventory_open, resume_after_inventory_close).
Compatibility:
- Designed to be lightweight and compatible with most mods.
- May conflict with mods that alter save/load behavior or force pause/unpause states.
- No special load order is required beyond having RE_Kenshi enabled.
