Mod «Backpacks Expanded 2.0 (Quivers added!)» for Kenshi
This mod expands container options in Kenshi by adding new backpacks and quivers. These items enhance gameplay variety, offering choices between stealth-focused gear and high-capacity storage for strength training.
- Backpacks: Adventurer's Backpack, Darkened Adventurer's Backpack, Leather Backpack, Thieves Tool Belt, Refitted Oil Drum Backpack (Craftable), Improvised Backpack (Craftable).
- Quivers: Big Bolt Quiver, Small Bolt Quiver, Improvised Metal Quiver, Improvised Mesh Quiver, Improvised Leather Quiver, Improvised Wooden Quiver.
Quivers are lightweight containers designed specifically for crossbow bolts. They provide increased stacking and weight reduction, making them ideal for dedicated crossbow users who do not focus on hauling. While they offer limited storage space compared to backpacks, they serve as functional roleplay items with viable in-game benefits.
Note: Quivers can be equipped simultaneously with certain backpacks. The stat bonuses stack, but only one item will be visually rendered on the character model. To access the inventory of the hidden container, left-click the visible item.
New backpacks and quivers can be purchased at most «Travel and Gear» shops and «Ranged» weapon shops located throughout the world.
Crafting: A new Crafting Junk Pile station is included. It can be built anywhere without creating an outpost and requires 10 Iron Ore. Construction takes a significant amount of time. All items labeled «Improvised» are crafted using 5 Iron Ore and 2 Animal Skins. Due to game engine limitations, crafting is instant and recipes cannot be unique per item.
