Mod «Legendary Weapons» for Kenshi
This mod adds 9 unique, high-quality end-game weapons to Kenshi. Each weapon is comparable in quality to a Meitou weapon but includes specific benefits such as armor pierce, modified damage against humans or animals, and weight adjustments that affect speed and damage for certain weapon classes. None of the weapons are over-powered.
The mod also introduces 9 new NPCs with unique personalities and dialogue, including 1 recruitable character. Additionally, there are 6 new ruin locations with custom-designed interiors and surrounding environments. An import is required for your save game to load the new locations and characters.
- Weapons: 9 unique weapons, covering at least one for each weapon skill type except crossbows.
- Acquisition:
- 6 weapons are found in 6 new ruin locations. You must fight to obtain them.
- 3 weapons are obtained by defeating the leader squads or the nemesis of the Holy Nation, United Cities, and Shek Kingdom. The weapon will be in the inventory of an NPC in the same squad as the leader.
- Faction Nemesis Targets: Shek Kingdom (Bugmaster), United Cities (Tinfist), Holy Nation (Flotsam Ninjas).
- Quests: Weapons are acquired through quest-like methods. You can find unique characters in bars around the world who provide directions to the ruin locations. Dialogue history can be checked if directions are forgotten.
- Visuals: Custom normal maps and specular/metalness maps are included for enhanced texture detail and realistic shininess.
If you have already completed quests for the main factions and received the quest weapons Kirvis, Dominion's Quarrel, or The Dominator, an addon is available to retrieve these weapons while maintaining your quest and world state progress.
