Adds a search bar to the crafting and research windows in Kenshi. This allows you to filter visible recipes and blueprints by name without scrolling through the entire list.
Requirements:
How to Use:
- Open the CRAFTING or RESEARCH tab in-game.
- Click the search box and type part of a recipe or blueprint name.
- Matching rows remain visible and move to the top. Non-matching rows are hidden.
- Use the X button to clear the search query.
- Drag the :: handle to move the search bar to a custom position.
Compatibility:
- No special load order is required beyond RE_Kenshi.
- If using Emkejs Mod Core for Mod Hub integration, load Emkejs Mod Core before this mod.
- May conflict with other mods that modify the crafting or research tabs.
Optional Mod Hub Integration:
- If Emkejs Mod Core is installed, this mod registers its settings in the Mod Hub menu while still saving changes to mod-config.json.
- Recommended load order: Emkejs Mod Core, then this mod.
Troubleshooting:
- The search bar only appears on the CRAFTING and RESEARCH tabs. It does not appear on MAP, FACTION, SQUADS, DIALOGUE, or AI screens.
- Ensure RE_Kenshi is installed and the mod is enabled in the Kenshi launcher if it fails to load.
- If Mod Hub settings do not appear, install Emkejs Mod Core and ensure it loads before this mod.
- Disable other mods that change the crafting or research UI to check for conflicts.
- If the search bar position is incorrect, reset the position values in mod-config.json or set searchInputPositionCustomized to false.
