Mod «Radiant Better Faces & Eyes» for Kenshi
This mod reworks most of the base eyes and faces in the game with a realistic approach and adds several custom face options. It aims to fix issues such as weird shapes, blurry textures, and strabismus, ensuring the new assets fit seamlessly with the base game's art direction.
Total Reworked Faces & Eyes: 101 (58 base + 43 custom). Covered races include Sheks, Scorchlanders, Greenlanders, Western Hive, Southern Hive, Cannibals, Cannibal Scavs, and Skeletons. All Unique Recruits are fully covered.
- All base texture faces have been reworked to fix artifacts. Eyes feature new textures with fixed sclera tones and iris colors that approximate the original files.
- Scorchlanders now have specific eyes with very small pupils, available in gold or silver.
- Sheks now have specific clear eyes with thin rectilinear pupils, available in purple, pink, or red.
- Cannibals have dark red-ish scleras to enhance their aggressive appearance.
- The 8 Skeleton models are now playable. Agnu, Burn, and Sadneil have their own independent models.
- Skeleton color tones are harmonized between head and body for each sub-race.
- Skeleton model names have been corrected for clarity, directly referring to their head and body setups.
- Each Unique Recruit has a custom exclusive face texture. Faces apply automatically in new games or imports if the recruit has not been recruited yet. For old saves, a surgeon intervention is required for each unique recruit to apply the face.
- Body values for Unique Recruits have been revised to correct proportions and aberrations while maintaining their character atmosphere and charisma.
- Kiana, the mod mascot, is implemented as a unique recruit found in Admag. She possesses moderate sharpshooter experience, other skills at level 10, bowcraft experience, and unique dialogues that expand with updates.
