Mod «Vital Read» for Kenshi

Vital Read adds small configurable status markers to squad portraits so you can read critical downed and injury states at a glance without opening each character panel.

Vital Read adds portrait icon overlays and optional text badges for unconscious, recovery coma, dying, playing dead, starving, crippled arm, and crippled leg states. Icons, text, size, corner, and shared edge margins are configurable through mod-config.json. It is intentionally focused on portrait readability and status visibility. It does not change Kenshi gameplay, medical rules, or AI behavior.

Requirements: RE_Kenshi

How to Use:

• Load into a save with squad portraits visible.
• Downed and injury states will appear as portrait icons and optional text badges automatically.
• Adjust mod-config.json if you want different text/icon visibility, size, corners, margins, or textures.

Compatibility: No special load order required beyond RE_Kenshi.

Troubleshooting:

• Ensure RE_Kenshi is installed and enabled.
• If another mod also draws portrait overlays, check for UI overlap and adjust corners or margins.
