Charlie 214 is one of hundreds of fortified seawall complexes along the Ventura Accord's Heidell South Coast line, serving as a component in the network of mass drivers monitoring the Heidell Sea. Approximately 23.62% of these facilities, including Charlie 214, are currently experiencing significant maintenance deficits. The mass drivers at this location, designed to engage naval or heavy aerial targets with kinetic rounds or hypersonic missiles, have been non-operational for several years. Unstable attrition ratios in the New Gherris Salient to the west may prompt Atlean forces to exploit these weakpoints to open a second front, making Seawall Charlie 214 a prime candidate for such operations.
