Mod «Anathema (Vitiated Characters) [RGON+]» for The Binding of Isaac

Anathema (Vitiated Characters) [RGON+] is a complete overhaul mod for The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth that requires Repentogon to function. It introduces «Vitiated Characters,» a new variant of the original cast, each featuring unique abilities, unlocks, and gameplay mechanics.

The mod currently includes:

• 6 new characters.
• 44 unlocks (7 per character), consisting of 3 items, 1 trinket, 2 consumables, and 1 meta unlock each.
• 2 challenges that grant additional unlocks.

To unlock all content immediately, type UNLOCK_ALL_VITIATED in the console. For assistance with unlocks, type VHELP.

Character Details:

Vitiated Isaac: A broken child prone to sin. His dice has shattered, causing pieces to rain from the sky, allowing for frequent rerolls. However, succumbing to Greed, Envy, or Sloth causes item loss. Dice Shards and self-sacrifice can be used to retrieve lost items.

Vitiated Cain: A bloody reaper cursed by God. He only finds low-quality items but wields an Upgrading Bag to collect pickups and improve item quality. His extra eye allows him to extract pickups directly from enemies, facilitating the filling of his bag.

Vitiated Azazel: An avatar of wrath with a gun mechanism embedded in his head. His Brimstone attack is more powerful but consumes ammo, requiring manual reloading. Successful reload skill checks grant extra ammo, increased damage, and apply a Brimstone curse to nearby enemies.

Vitiated Lilith: The mother of all cambions. Her basic attack is replaced by a C-section that shoots demon fetuses. These fetuses eventually settle as stationary turrets. The active item «Family Bond» recalls fetuses and can sacrifice items to increase the maximum fetus count.

Vitiated Apollyon: The Angel of the End. His active item, the Angelic Trumpet, consumes items to grant stacking buffs or stat increases. If the trumpet is not used, found items automatically convert into random buffs, removing player choice. Accumulating buffs brings him closer to his true form.

Vitiated Bethany: God's most faithful servant. Her active item, Denzinger, summons indestructible wisps that can be fired to indoctrinate enemies, turning them into Follower Wisps. She starts with 3 empty bone hearts; all health is replaced by static hearts which serve as charges for active items. Each Follower Wisp acts as a Holy Mantle charge. Followers can be exchanged for static hearts at a TV in the starting room.
