Organized Chaos restores historical vanilla items to the modern item pools, allowing players to encounter items from all expansions simultaneously. This mod reverses many weight and pool changes introduced by the Repentance expansion and Repentance+ beta.
Compatibility Note: This mod modifies resources/ItemPools.xml. It is incompatible with other mods that change item weights or pools, including major overhauls like Repentance+ (Reflourished) or Fiend Folio. Compatibility with Tainted Cain is untested.
Key Features:
- Almost every item removed in Repentance or Repentance+ is restored without removing any added items.
- Most restored items return to a standard weight of 1.0.
- Three deliberately rare items (Mega Blast, Delirious, Plan C) are set to weight 0.5.
- Dataminer and TMTRAINER are set to weight 0.5 due to their volatile nature.
Excluded Items: The following items were intentionally not restored to specific pools based on their intended function or balance:
- Crystal Ball (Treasure list)
- Portable Slot (Shop and Beggar lists)
- Little Steven (Boss list)
- Blood Bag and IV Bag (Golden Chest list)
- Godhead (Greed Mode Treasure list)
- Cube of Meat (Greed Mode extra lists)
- Sacrificial Dagger (Familiar pools)
- Poke Go, Guppy's Tail, and Contract from Below (Greed Mode shops, Curse Rooms, and Devil Deals)
