Organized Chaos restores historical vanilla items to modern item pools, allowing players to experience content from all expansions simultaneously. It reverses many item pool and weight changes introduced in the Repentance expansion and Repentance+ beta.
Key Features:
- Restores almost every item removed in Repentance or Repentance+ without removing any added items.
- Resets almost all item weights to 1.0, matching pre-Repentance values.
- Sets Mega Blast, Delirious, and Plan C to Weight 0.5, making them deliberately rare but more common than before.
- Sets Dataminer and TMTRAINER to Weight 0.5 due to the volatility of glitch items.
Items Not Restored: Some items were intentionally excluded from specific pools for balance or design reasons:
- Crystal Ball does not return to the Treasure pool.
- Portable Slot does not return to the Shop or Beggar pools.
- Little Steven does not return to the Boss pool.
- Blood Bag and IV Bag do not return to the Golden Chest pool.
- Godhead does not return to the Greed Mode Treasure pool.
- Cube of Meat does not return to extra Greed Mode pools.
- Sacrificial Dagger does not return to the familiar pool drawn by Adoption Papers and Soul of Lilith.
- Poke Go, Guppy's Tail, and Contract from Below do not return to Greed Mode shops, Curse Rooms, or Devil Deals.

Note: This mod is incompatible with other mods that modify resources/ItemPools.xml, including major overhauls like Reflourished or Fiend Folio. Playtesting with Tainted Cain has not been conducted.
