This mod adds a new affliction to Barotrauma: a viral disease. The condition is initiated by nausea with a small chance, after which it builds in strength.
At its peak, the affliction causes:
- Skill reduction
- Movement speed reduction
- A general jaundiced appearance
- A cough that spreads the viral infection in a small radius
The disease can be detected at an early stage using a health information scanner. A diving mask protects against coughing from infected people.
Note: This mod overrides nausea (to allow for the new affliction to be initiated), the diving mask, and broad-spectrum antibiotics (for treatment).
