[42] Vanilla Firearms Expansion plus VFES and VFE93

Update for 42.13 and 42.13.1

Version 42.13 is marked as B42. Includes a patch for Hot Brass. Not recommended for multiplayer until further notice from TIS.

Legacy version for 42.12 remains available but will receive no new features.

VFE Post 93 weapons Out!

Ported VFE93 weapons with added missing features. Ammo comes in packs, cases, and crates. SD variants are rarer than non-SD. Suppressors can be found and attached or removed like a bayonet.

VFE Stalker Edition Out now!

Ported Stalker version included.

With approval from Vilespring, this is an unofficial port of VFE to Build 42. It serves as a temporary version while the official update is in development.

About This Port

Core functionalities from Build 41 are preserved, with integration of some Build 42 systems.

Changes

VFE

— JungleMags (couple mags) can be equipped with slings due to new B42 attachment categories.

— Ammo cartons added alongside packs, cases, and crates as a cheaper alternative.

VFES

— New rifle calibers: 7.62x54mm and 9x39mm, in addition to 5.45mm.

— All new VFES calibers support ammo packing into packs, cases, crates, or cartons.

VFE93

— Suppressors are now findable items, allowing switching between SD and non-SD gun variants.

— New ammunition types support packing.

Additional Integration

Optional support for Hot Brass mod adds visible shell casings. All VFE weapon addons use custom models for ammo and casings.

Availability

This mod will stay available until the official VFE update releases, then will be unlisted.
