Mod «[B42] Become Desensitized» for Project Zomboid
Gain the Desensitized trait through combat experience. Kill zombies through melee or firearms to gradually build resistance to panic. The more you kill, the higher your chance of becoming desensitized.
Dynamic progression system
- At around 500 kills (configurable), you begin rolling for a chance to gain the trait.
- At 2000 kills (configurable), you will automatically become desensitized.
Trait & occupation influence
Certain traits and professions affect how quickly you become desensitized—some make it easier, others make it harder.
- Positive Traits: Brave, Hunter
- Negative Traits: Cowardly, Agoraphobic, Claustrophobic, Hemophobic, Pacifist
- Relevant Occupations: Police Officer, Fireman, Park Ranger, Security Guard, Doctor, Nurse
Removes conflicting traits
Upon becoming desensitized, the following traits are removed: Cowardly, Agoraphobic, Claustrophobic, Hemophobic.
Midnight trigger system
Trait acquisition checks occur at 00:00 each day.
