Vanilla caffeine acts as an instant fatigue remover. This mod replaces that mechanic with a pharmacokinetic model. Caffeine now masks fatigue instead of curing it.
How It Works Caffeine effects increase over time, reach a peak, and then decrease. While active, caffeine lowers the effective fatigue level your character experiences. The actual fatigue continues to build up underneath.
Features

  • Masking, not curing – The strongest relief applies to the Drowsy and Tired states where fatigue begins to affect performance. You can keep going, but you are not rested.
  • One molecule – Pills, coffee, and tea all use the same model.
  • Natural rebound – Your accumulated fatigue returns as the effect fades.
  • Sleep disruption – Consuming caffeine before bed reduces sleep quality. One dose has a mild negative effect. Heavy use before bed has a stronger negative effect.
  • Overstimulation – Consuming too much caffeine in a short time can make your character tense and jittery while the levels are high.
