Mod «Quick Restart» for Project Zomboid

Adds a Quick Restart panel to the death screen, allowing you to return to the game faster than the standard process.

• Restart Options: Choose to restart in a fresh world or respawn in the same one. Both options restore your original character.
• Character Restoration: The mod saves your character data upon creation and reapplies it automatically. This includes:
  • Name, gender, profession, and all traits
  • All skills and their XP
  • Full appearance (hair, beard, colors, skin tone, body hair, stubble)
  • All worn clothing, including colors and texture variants
  • Voice type, pitch, and prefix
  • Spawn region
• Sandbox Settings: When clicking «Fresh World,» current sandbox settings are saved. Any changes made during playthrough are carried over to the new world.
• New Character Baseline: If you choose «Continue with a new character» instead of using Quick Restart, that new character becomes the baseline for future Quick Restarts.

Notes

• If enabled mid-save, Quick Restart buttons are disabled because no character data was saved at creation. You can still use «Continue with a new character» to apply current sandbox settings to a fresh world.
• Fresh World Quick Restart is single-player only.
• Same World Quick Restart in multiplayer is not yet supported.
• Modded items may not be reapplied if the save system does not catch them.
