Mod «Skill Recovery Journal» for Project Zomboid

«Skill Recovery Journal» is a Project Zomboid mod that adds craftable journals for recovering skills and recipes after character loss. The system is designed to be lore-friendly, allowing players to retain progress without breaking game balance. XP stored in journals is flattened to a base value and reapplied according to the new character’s traits when read. Traits like Smart Learner or Slow Learner affect only the current character’s XP gain and do not alter the amount saved in the journal. The mod supports casual and experimental gameplay while preserving core progression mechanics.
