Tactical Sling Reborn

This mod expands on the concept of carrying multiple firearms by allowing survivors to equip up to 20 separate back rifle slings. Each sling occupies a unique wearable slot, enabling heavily armed tactical loadouts. The mod is designed for Project Zomboid Build 42.18 and newer.

• Adds multiple wearable rifle slings.
• Allows carrying many weapons on your back simultaneously.
• Includes up to 20 distinct Back Rifle Sling items.
• Each sling uses a separate equipment slot (e.g., you cannot equip «Back Rifle Sling 1» twice; you must use Sling 1, Sling 2, etc.).
• Compatible with vanilla weapons and many modded firearms.
• Includes an optional «Weightless Everything» add-on that reduces item weight to approximately 0.001 for players who prefer less encumbrance management.

Installation and Setup

Subscribe to the mod and enable the desired components in your mod list.

• Balanced Experience: Enable only «Tactical Sling Reborn». You will need to manage character encumbrance and weight limits.
• Chaos/Weightless Experience: Enable «Tactical Sling Reborn» and «Tactical Sling Reborn — Weightless Everything». This significantly reduces gear weight.
• Modded Firearms: If using compatible gun mods, enable them alongside the sling mod. For «Gael’s Gun Store» users, also enable the specific patch fix if available to resolve issues with vehicle interaction, hotbar actions, and item transfers.

• Works naturally with vanilla weapons.
